Finnish Kuva Space, which develops hyperspectral technology and is building a satellite constellation that uses it, has concluded an important partnership agreement in Japan.
The company signed a cooperation agreement with the large Japanese aerospace company IHI Corporation IHI Corporation on applying Kuva Space’s technology to Japanese needs and on possible cooperation also in manufacturing satellites in Japan.
The agreement is part of the prevailing trend in the industry towards permanent partnerships instead of selling individual satellites and services.
