AEROFUSE seeks information on skill demand in the European aeronautics, space, and defence sectors
The AEROFUSE project (An Alliance for the Future of the AEROnautics and Upstream Segment Skills Evolution) is a four-year Erasmus+ initiative focused on strengthening and future-proofing skills in the European aerospace and defence ecosystems across 12 European countries, with 26 partners.
The project is reaching out to stakeholders in the European aeronautics, space, and defence sectors to share their expertise on “Technologies, Skills, and Job Roles.”
This input is crucial to shaping the future of these industries. The results will help better understand how technological developments are influencing skills demand and where the most significant competence gaps exist.
The project invites all interested participants to complete the online survey by 30 April 2026 at ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/AEROFUSE
The questionnaire may take 15–30 minutes to complete. You can save your responses using the “Save as draft” feature before submitting.
This questionnaire does not collect personal data. All responses will be analysed in aggregated form.
One of the goals of the SpacEconomy project is to find solutions to the urgent workforce shortage in the Finnish space sector. We aim to encourage new generations and people outside the traditional space industry to consider space as a career option. In this we share the goals of AEROFUSE project.
There is no shortage of work – and in the future, there will be even less!
