Starship's 11th flight
Jari Mäkinen
SpaceX conducted, on 13 October (14 October in Europe), another test flight with its revolutionary Starship rocket. The booster landed at sea near the Texas coastline as planned, and the upper stage, the Starship spaceplane, also managed to reach space, release dummy satellites, relight its engine, and re-enter for a splashy landing in the Indian Ocean. This was the last flight of the so-called Batch 2. The next version will be even bigger and more powerful. When Starship enters service, it will revolutionise the space business.
